SKINNY COMES UP SHORT
@JMangold just made what non-Reno-based players would consider a pretty loose call of the 9,300 all-in from defending @HPTpoker @DBKCandPR champ Ben Scrogins.
Scrogins showed Ace_Jack and Mangold (pictured) turned over 2-3, the infamous Skinny, a Reno-legend hand.
The board ran out 8-Q-A-Q-8, so Scrogins moved back to 20k, Mangold down to 8k on his third entry of the day.
Next hand, Mangold puts his remaining chips in with King_Deuce, called by Ace_Queen.
The flop was a skinny-dream ... 3-2-3 ... he missed his initial goal by a single hand, but caught his 2 and that held for a double and he's back to 16k.
Action, the Skinny version. If you want to learn the legend, come out to Reno and you'll learn ...
Level - 4
BB Ante - 300
Blinds - 100/300
Entries - 147
