I'm not sure what took place preflop - and based on how the hand played out, it might be best I don't - but I arrived on the flop to find four players in the hand, with two of them having already moved all-in on the turn.
Jason Mangold was already all-in, and OJ Miller had moved in as well for what appears to be even stacks on the
flop. A third player is debating what to do with a stack that's a quarter of what's already been bet .. and Nick Davidson is also in the hand. The short-stack moves in and Davidson chuckles as he releases his hand.
The short stack shows
for a gutter to a straight and a backdoor spades draw.Mangold shows ....
for, well, for a backdoor straight and backdoor club draw.Life is good for Miller at this point, as he turns over
for trips and a dominant 80/15/3 advantage.Turn is
, Mangold is drawing dead, and the river seals the deal. the dealer counts out the stacks and Mangold has Miller covered by two 100 chips, one-tenth of the SB, with the short-stack player eliminated.Yeah, that really happened, Hayley saw it too ....
