The $2,500 @HPTSeason Championship @AmeristarEC is the last event to earn points in the Season XIV Player of the Year race.
Ossama Estafanous - with 3rd and 5th place finishes at HPT East Chicago Main Events already this year - sits atop the Player of the Year Leaderboard with 197 points.
Both Estafanous and 2nd-place Jake Baumgartner - the August HPT East Chicago champ - made the final table two weeks ago in Daytona Beach to pull away a bit from the rest of the players chasing the POY title.
Despite that, any player in the top 88 has a mathematical chance of becoming the Player of the Year.
An entry in to six HPT Main Events in Season XV is what the winner receives.
Estafanous is here for the final flight of the Season Championship, while Baumgartner bagged in the first flight.
