ROUGH END TO ROUGH TOURNAMENT

Tim Shortell seemed to be set for a few days of poker when he arrived Friday for Day 1A of the @HPTpoker $@,500 Season XIV Championship.

The day's play began well for him and he was consistently chipping up. By the start of Level 5, however, he wasn't feeling well, and it went downhill fast.

Shortell ended up leaving the tournament area before dinner break, his stack blinding all the way down to 30,300 when tournament staff bagged up his chips at the end of play.

He came back today feeling not much better but ready to get his chips back.

In goes his stack with Ace_King, called by Ace_Queen and he gets an Ace on the flop ... but a Queen as well ... and after two days of trying to recover, his Day 2 ends in fewer than 30 minutes.

Level - 11
BB Ante - 1200
Blinds - 600/1200
Entries - fewer than 129/434
