An Ill-Timed Squeeze

Mark Morris' last two orbits sent his stack plummeting from 330,000 to around 80,000 after a couple back-to-back losing hands. He got tilted and open-shoved three hands in a row with no callers.

After he left the table to run to the bar, he returned to open to 9,000, Ron Rendon called and Jacob Baumgartner shoved from the big blind. Morris let his hand go and Rendon called after he got a count of around 115,000.

Rendon: Kc Kh
Baumgartner: 9h 3h

The board ran Jh 9s 8d 5c 8s and Baumgartner's squeeze from the big blind backfired and he was eliminated with an hour left to play in the night.

BB Ante - 3,000
