Flopped Set is Worst Hand Until Turn
There was a lot of commotion over at Table 16 and players were waving us over as the dealer shipped the pot to Justin Lee. They were kind enough to replay the action of the hand.
On a flop of Tx 9x 7x, there was a bet, a raise, a shove and two calls.
David Berman: Jx 8x
Bekr Ali: Tx Tx
Lee: 9x 9x
Berman was the short stack and looked to be a lock to double up with a flopped straight. But the board completed with a blank on the turn and the river was the case nine for Lee to make quads and go from worst to first after flopping middle set.
Justin Lee - 70,000
BB Ante - 500
Blinds - 200/500
Entries - 204
