Just under ten levels of action reduced the Day 2 East Chicago Main Event field from 93 down to the final table of nine players. Jordan DeGrenier just edged out Michael Sabbia for the lead - 2.44 million to 2.43 million respectively - over a tightly packed final nine.
Hamid Izadi (2.3 million) and Jon Cohen (2.27 million) are on their heels leading the chase pack of Nicholas Davidson, Justin Lee and Jud Tigerman. Briand Thomas and Andrew Campbell are two short stacks but both have seven-figure stacks.
Each player has $15,885 locked up with their final table seat but all eyes are on the top prize of $178,709 plus a $3,500 championship package.
Cards hit the air at noon with all the action streaming live on HPT's Twitch channel on a 30-minute delay.
