Battle of Wills Betwen Sacha and Roberts

The preflop action seemed innocent enough, but once the flop came out, the action became quite interesting indeed between John Sacha and Shawn Roberts.

2s 8h Th went the flop.

Sacha moves all in and almost immediately jumped up from the table, leaning far over his chips towards Roberts, in what clearly came across as an attempt to intimidate Roberts.

Not only did Roberts not flinch, he tanked long enough that Sacha sat down, but he sat quit unhappily and verbalized his displeasure.

Roberts responded back once Sacha sat down and the two talked for about two more minutes -  before Roberts found a fold.

Sasha spread both cards out and gave Roberts the option to turn one over. Roberts selected a card and Sacha showed Ts.

While Sacha has shown many a bluff at the final table today, each time I saw him jump up and lean over the table on Sunday during Day 2 play, he showed a monster hand.

"Once I get to 3 million I am going to win this," said Sacha in the hallway on the last break. "I'm the best player at the table."

Sacha is not only now at more than 3 million, he is chipleader at 5.1 million.
