@HPTPoker returns to @Gates_Poker at Golden Gates Casino and Poker Parlour in Black Hawk, CO. for a $1,650 Main Event this Thursday through Monday.
There's three starting flights for the Main Event, this Thursday, Friday and Saturday - all with Noon starting times. Players begin with 30,000 stacks and play 15 40-minute levels on Day 1.
All players who make it through their Day 1 flight return Sunday at 11am for Day 2, playing 60-minute levels until the LiveStream 9-handed Final Table. Final Table action is scheduled to begin Monday at noon, playing to a winner.
Wendy Freedman (pictured) won the last HPT Black Hawk Main Event, earning $167,696 for her title where she defeated a field of 496 entries. I ran in to Wendy at a tournament in Los Angeles yesterday and learned she is not going to be able to return this week to defend here title.
The February 2018 HPT Black Hawk Champion - Mike Englert - is expected to be back to defend his title. He defeated a 607-entry field a year ago, winning $200,762.
