Brett Apter has held the chiplead here in Day 1A @HPTpoker @StLouisPokerHC for the last few levels, sitting at about 235,000 when the field came back from the Level 12 break.
Apter earned a WSOP Circuit ring in Milwaukee in early February and added a 5th in the Main Event there, following it up with three more final tables at the February Circuit event at Hammond - a circuit stop that is a big draw many players in this area, a little more than a 4-hour drive away.
His best cash came in the February 2017 MSPT at the Venetian in Las Vegas, a 3rd place in a 1,032-entry $3,500 for a $280,704 cash.
