Winners of the last two @HPTpoker Main Events - Greg Wood and Bill Byrnes - arrived here for Day 1B @MeadowsCasino just before Level 3 concluded.

Wood took down HPT Lawrenceburg March 28 for a $119k win, while Byrnes captured the HPT St. Louis title March 15 for a $148k score.

The two are friends from the St. Louis area and traveled here to make runs at the Season XV HPT Player of the Year title. Wood leads right now with Byrnes in 4th place.

Season XV winner of the Player of the Year title earns $10,000 in HPT Main Event buy-ins at locations of the player's choice, plus hotel accommodations at up to six tour stops.
