I just did a quick trip through the tournament tables here @MeadowsCasino as Day 1C begins for the $250,000 Guaranteed @HPTpoker Main Event and what do I see but two players who I just ran in to last week.
No big deal, right?
Well, you see, what happened was ... Marty Gorenc (above) and Tim Klemin (below) were both in California last week in a WPTDeepStacks Series at Thunder Valley.
Gorenc - the HPT Cruise Main Event winner from last January - said he used to live in the Pittsburgh area so he wanted to come back to the area and make a run at the HPT Player of the Year title.
Klemin's daughter lives in the region so this gives him a chance to get in family time and the pokers all in the same weekend.
