Some of the largest main event prize pools each season in the @HPTpoker tour take place at Ameristar East Chicago. HPT returns May 2-14 for its second stop of Season XV.
The $1,650 Main Event takes place May 9-14 with four starting flights, Day 2 on Monday, May 13 and the final table on Tuesday, May 14. There's 40 seats guaranteed to the Main Event in a series of Qualifiers in the days leading up to Main Event weekend.
Preliminary events include a $200,000 Guaranteed $350 Monster Stack on opening weekend that regularly draws 1,000 or more entries; two seniors events; a ladies event and the always-popular Tag Team. Mixed-game players have a PLO and a 7-game mix also on the schedule.
