One post-dinner-break level is in the books and the dreaded Legend of the Food Coma didn't take hold here at HPT Pittsburgh as viciously as it has in most locations.
Legend has it 15-20 percent of the remaining field is eliminated in the first 40 minutes after returning from dinner in 4-figure-buyin tournaments. Players head back with full bellies, a wee bit too comfortable, making a loose call or three, finding themselves on the rail wondering where their chippies went.
Just 11 percent of the field found the rail tonight, a much lower percentage than normal, with 70 players remaining to play four more 40-minute levels.
