The field is down to 60 players after one post-dinner-break level in Day 1B of the HPT East Chicago Main Event, 70 returned from dinner and 10 departed since.
That is a pretty typical post-dinner pace, to lose around 15 percent of the field in the first 40 minutes, and 40+ percent of the field in the first two hours after the meal sets in.
Thursday's field played at a much more leisurely pace, with 20 percent of the starting field making Sunday's Day 2. Normal for a first flight is to get to 13-15 percent, around 15-17 percent advancing from Day 1B and 19-24 percent of the final flight moving on.
