Some of the largest prize pools in @HPTpoker history have come from stops at @AmeristarEC. The tour returns to East Chicago Thursday for a Labor Day Weekend $1,650 Main Event.
The festivities kick off at 2pm Thursday with Day 1A, followed by Day 1B at 2pm Friday and the final starting flight - Day 1C - starting at Noon on Saturday. Day 2 begins Sunday at 11am, with the final table on Labor Day, starting Monday at noon.
Players begin this and every HPT $1,650 Main Event with a 30,000 stack and play 40-minute levels on Day 1, moving to hour-long levels when Day 2 begins, continuing for the rest of the tournament.
Chris Moon won the most recent HPT East Chicago Main Event, held last May. Moon earned $187,399 for defeating the 570-entry field that created a prize pool of $820,800.
