WELL, THAT WAS AWKWARD
There's a call for 'Floor,' from a table in the middle of the tournament area, so off goes @HPTJeremy to check on the action, and here's his recap of what took place in Day 1C of the HPT East Chicago Main Event.
The board was 9-x-J-Q, a bet of 15,000 from one player, a call from the other, and here's where it gets interesting.
The first player turns his hand over, exposing K-T for the straight. JeremyTheTD is asked what to do. He instructs the player to turn his hand back over (a penalty to be assessed after the hand) and for action to proceed.
River is a Queen, the non-exposed-hand player moves all in and the player who showed the straight makes the call.
Jacks for the other player, who shows he rivered a full house, earning a full double, leaving exposed-hand player quite short after less than an hour of play today.
Level - 2
Ante - 0
Blinds - 100/200
Entries - 141
