The first two of five starting flights from Hollywood Toledo are in the books. Timothy Ebenhoeh (pictured) set the bar high in this $500 HPT Mini Series Main Event by bagging 607,000 chips in the opening flight. Ebenhoeh was the top stack on a list of eight players to have advanced from a starting field of 83 entries in Flight A.
Flight B drew 81 players, creating a total of 164 entrants over the first two flights. Not to be outdone by Ebenhoeh, Terry Kiss found the largest bag of 1B by collecting a staggering 719,500 chips.
There are three more flights scheduled for this $500 Main Event, all of which will be held Saturday. Starting times for those are 10:15am, 2:15pm, and 6:15pm. The first two flights today saw 16 players advance. Those players, along with all who advance from the three flights tomorrow, will return to the felt Sunday at 12:15pm for Day 2. Play continues Sunday until a new champ has been crowned.
