Heads up play did not last long in the $500 Main Event at Hollywood Toledo. On the final hand, Gervais opened to 340k with the blinds at 80k/160k. It didn't take long for Iacovone to follow up with an all in for the remainder of his stack. Gervais made the call.
Iacovone held king-jack of diamonds while Gervais was ahead with the ace-ten. The board fell 6s 9d 5s 5h 9h and it was all over. Michele Iacovone won $28,749 for the runner-up finish. That score will bump him over the $300k mark in total career earnings.
