Champ in the House

Last week's opening $200 event at Hollywood Toledo drew 696 total entries. In the end, Zinoviy Pelekh (pictured) outlasted the competition to take home the $24,000 top prize. Pelekh is among the most recent players to enter Flight D of the Mini Series Main Event.

That heat has just surpassed the 100-entry mark at the start of Level 5. Late registration is still open for 5 full levels plus the dinner break. Pelekh is just under starting stack (25k) here in the early going.

On the other side of the room, Flight C is midway through Level 11 and 31 of the original 104 entries remain. Jeff Sayen has taken the lead among those final 31 with just over 200k in chips. They'll play down to the final 10 before play stops for the evening in that flight.

Flight C Entries: 104
Remaining: 31
Level: 11
Blinds: 800/1,600/1,600

Flight D Entries: 102
Level: 5
Blinds: 200/400
