PUPILLO'S YEAR-LONG HEATER CONTINUES
Fans of @HPTPoker are aware how @NickPupillo54 has been putting up great numbers all season long, leading the Player of the Year race by a considerable margin.
His 2019 heater continued this week in Atlantic City where he finished 7th on Thursday in the WPT $3,500 at Borgata to add $100,657 more to his career earnings.
Just hours after cashing out, Pupillo was on a flight to Denver, then the drive up the mountain to be here for Day 1C of the HPT $1,650 in Black Hawk.
Pupillo already has a win here in February for $194,478, a runner-up finish two weeks ago at HPT St. Louis for $98,195 more and a 7th here in July for $19,8120 more.
His three final tables pushed his Player of the Year points to 302.6 (more than 100 ahead of No. 2 Nick Davidson) and his 2019-only cashes to more than $800,000.
