Eleven hours after it started, the third flight of this $500 Toledo Main Event has come to a close. Ten players are bagging chips from the starting field of 104 entries.
Play came to a screeching halt about two hours ago with 14 players. In that time, Rui Zhu (pictured) managed to more than double his stack to build a mountain of 581,000 chips. That was good for the lead. However, Zhu is currently in third behind the chip leaders from the first two flights, Terry Kiss (719,500) and Timothy Ebenhoeh (607,000). The ten who advanced from 1C return to the felt tomorrow at 12:15 for Day 2. We'll have Day 2 chip counts and seat assignments posted here tomorrow morning as there are still two flights in play.
