Registration has closed on the first of two starting flights in the $250,000 Guaranteed @HPTPoker $1,100 Main Event @MeadowsCasino and the scoreboard shows 117 entries, a more than 20-percent increase from the Friday flight here last April.
Competition continues for six more 40-minute levels, wrapping up at 1:45am with the tradition known as the Bag-n-Tag ... or when down to 16 players, the 13-percent-rounded-up HardStop.
Last April drew 95 entries on Friday and 197 on Saturday (there was a 53-entry Thursday flight as well for 345 total).
