Tony Nguyen built towers early, gained the chiplead midway through the flight and held that to the end of play to earn TopBag honors in Day 1A of the $1,100 @HPTpoker Main Event @DBKCandPR.
Nguyen, with 405,000, has the lead over the other 21 players who also bagged a stack from the 151-entry starting field today. A large number of players built BigBags during the final 90 minutes of play tonight, including Sean Iannucci (355,000), Miguel Hernandez (321,000), Dan Gannon (316,000) and Charles Johnson (308,000).
Greg Raymer was among those BigBags until the final few hands of the night.

Among the players who came out for Day 1B but did not find a Day2Bag was Tony Miles, TK Miles, Tony Cousineau, Hyndi Khomutetsky, Ed Sebesta, Tim Shortell, Jeremy Joseph, Chris Moon, Tom Wheaton, Rob Manjura, Blake Whittington, Alexis Sterner, Daniel Silva, Mike O'Neill, Roger Campbell and Carson Stewart.
