Calvin Snead seemed to increase his stack every time I went by his table through all 15 40-minute Day 1B levels in the @HPTpoker $1,100 Main Event at Meadows Casino and Racetrack outside Pittsburgh, PA.
While Jason Mangold was going on a ruthless tear the first few levels back from dinner break, Snead was steadily chipping up. When Mangold's heater turne odd, Snead continues his climb, bagging the top stack from the 2x players moving on to Sunday's Day 2 Restart at 11am.
Snead's leads at a whopping 652,000, with Mangold at 442,000, Bobby Noel at 391,000, Greg Raymer at 336,000 and Franco Bonacci at 313,000 rounding out the top-five stacks for the night.
Among the players whose Main Event came to an end without a Day 2 Bag today was Ricky Ali, Jan Fisher, Ian Richardson, Griffin Abel, Penelope Banhidy and Corrine Pranovich.
Here's the final chipstacks for the 2x players - from a starting field of 150 - moving on to Sunday's 11am Day 2 Restart.
