Tom Wheaton survived his Aces running in to a set, but his stack took a world of hurt. One table to his left, it was Hamid Izadi whose Aces ran in to a set for all his initial stack, while one table to Wheaton's right, it was Hyndi Khomutetsky's Aces crashing against a flopped TopTop for stacks.
All that happened in the first hour of play today.
