Three players have already posted huge stacks after two flights in the @HPTpoker $1,650 Main Event @Gates_Poker, the overall leader right now with possibly the largest #Day2Bag in the 16-year history of the tour.
Tan Hoang (pictured) - runner-up here at HPT Black hawk last September to Jay McVeigh - went on a multi-levels heater in Thursday's Day 1A, wrapping up the night by playing BigStackPoker exceptionally well. His 871,000 stack is larger than any Day2Bag I've seen in my seven years with HPT and I can't find a larger one researching back as far as I can find.
He was only 19k short of having the next four Day 1A stacks covered when play wrapped up with 22 competitors advancing to Day 2.
Friday's Day 1B closed with both David Litt (590,000) and Maziar Keshavari (530,0000) topping the HalfMillyMark. That's also rarified air, as it is not often a Day 2 begins with a player having a 600k or larger stack.
Here's a look at the 41 players - out of 259 entries - who earned a Day2Bag.
Level - 4
Ante - 300
Blinds - 100/300
Entries - 169
