Food Coma is Alive and Unwell

The post-dinner break food coma is a national poker tournament phenomena, discovered by me- from covering tournaments across the country for years, and playing in them for decades longer.

Every large tournament loses 13-15, sometimes as high as 20 percent of its returning-from-dinner field within the first 40 minutes after hitting the buffet.
