HPT Golden Gates: Day 1c Starts at Noon

In just a few minutes, the third of four starting flights in the HPT Golden Gates $1,650 Main Event will start. So far 61 players have earned their spot in Day 2. Ryan Van Sanford holds the biggest chip stack so far after ending Day 1a with 468,500.

The action starts at noon and will continue for 15 40-minute levels before players bag for Day 2. There is a one-hour dinner break scheduled at the end of level nine, and registration for today's flight will close at the start of level ten.

With 286 entries already, the HPT Golden Gates Main Event is well on its way to the estimated $1,000,000 prize pool. There are still chances to qualify, with single-table qualifiers throughout the day and a $380 buy-in multi-table qualifier tonight at 7 p.m.
