Greg @FossilMan Raymer was the first player to 200,000 but Hiep Doan had moved to 300k by the time play was down to a single table, with on Raymer's immediate right.
I walk over to see the latest in the Slot Machine Adventures of Allen Kessler, and before I can turn back around, I see Raymer standing up and walking away from the table ... and yep, it is Doan with all Raymer's chips.
Raymer said the pot was 4-bet preflop, two hearts came on the flop, a third on the turn and when Doan bet the river, Raymer said his read was Doan didn't have a flush and would not be able to call an all-in bet.
Well, Doan asked for a count and found a call, turning over A-A, and winning what is going to be one of the biggest pots until we get down to the last 1-2 tables on Day 2.
Doan is up to just shy of 600,000 chips here on Day 1A.
