Shawn Roberts (left) limped from the cutoff for 12,000. Kyle Julius did likewise from the button and Bob Peppe completed the small blind. Joe Gilmore took his option and made it 47,000. Roberts wasted no time in dropping a big stack of gold 25K chips in front of him that got Julius and Peppe out tout suite. Gilmore gave it about 10 seconds of thought before he agreed to put his last 177K in the middle. He was not thrilled to see his AJo behind the AQo (not pictured below) of Roberts. The king-high flop didn't make him much happier, but the Jc on the turn flipped things over in Gilmore's favor. Then came the cruel Th on the river giving Roberts the nut straight, eliminating Gilmore. Roberts is now dangerous at over 850K.
