Oh Say Can You Seo
With the blinds still at 1200/2400 for one final hand, Josh McFall raised under the gun to 5,200. Brandon Seo was next to act and he re-raised to 17,700. Dave Serkoch called from the button and after both blinds folded, McFall jammed all in for over 120K. Seo thought for a few moments before calling off for his tournament life and Serkoch, who had both players covered, went into the tank. He ultimately decided to "fold the winner" and showed his red 10's face-up. He would've been in the middle of the two, though, as Seo was actually out in front with QsQd against McFall's red 9's. The flop made things interesting, as the all-heart K68 gave McFall 8 more outs and some running straight possibilities. Serkoch was even more sure he was going to come out ahead, but the board blanked out and McFall lost almost 2/3 of his stack. Seo more than doubled his chips and Serkoch was amazed the Poker Gods didn't shaft him.
