Stephen Smith Leads 51 Survivors
Level - 14
Antes - 300
Blinds - 1,200/2,400
Entries - 205
Remaining - 51
The third and final Day 1 flight for the Belterra Main Event was the largest and blew past the Day 1B mark before the first break. Saturday's play saw 205 entrants, pushing the grand total to 394 entrants. Stephen Smith ended the day on top after winning a huge hand in the closing minutes.
It was a day of attrition as many players fired multiple bullets, juicing the prize pool. Notables Robert Hankins, Kurt Jewell and Robert Geith managed to survive.
Craig Casino, Greg Raymer, Matt Lushen and Blake Battaglia are a few players that took a seat at the felt but never got things going their way.
Sunday's Day 2 returns 88 players, cards get in the air at noon and they'll play down to a final table of nine. Here's how each day broke down for advancing players:
Day 1A: 11
Day 1B: 26
Day 1C: 51
