HPT Tournament Director Jeremy Smith has finished his pre-tournament announcements on rules, breaks, etc. and cards are in the air.
This is the second and final flight of the $1,650 Main Event at Ameristar Casino Hotel Kansas City in Western Missouri. Yesterday's flight saw 107 total entries, 17 of which bagged chips and advanced. Click HERE to see a full list of players who bagged Flight A.
Today's field will play through 15 full levels (or down to 13% of the field, whichever comes first). At that point, the remaining players will bag chips. Both flights will be combined for Day 2 action tomorrow.
There will be breaks every three levels this afternoon. After the ninth level, players gets a one-hour dinner break. When they return from that dinner break (at approximately 7:30) late registration will be closed.
At that point, we will tally total entries and prize pool numbers.
