ST LOUIS PLAYERS COLLIDE

We just walked up to see two St. Louis locale players tangled up in a pot early on in Level 2.

Those players were Andreas Ioakimides and Roger @rcamp1662 Campbell.

Ioakimides has just shy of a quarter of a million dollars in career earnings on the felt. His largest score came in April of this year when he topped a field of 711 entries in a $350 HPT prelim to win over $30k. The above photo is from that event.

Roger Campbell has 16 HPT cashes to his name, including a win for $131k in St. Louis in 2013.

We've seen the two on the circuit a lot and it's no secret that neither of them is afraid to put their chips in the middle. We just witnessed such an occasion first hand. Both hands started with right around the 30k starting stack, though Ioakimides had Campbell slightly covered.

After some back and forth action on earlier streets, the two were looking at a board of  qcKcKc Kc.

Ioakimides had been the aggressor in the hand to that point. He continued with that trend by putting enough chips in the middle to put Campbell all in.

Ioakimides - KcKc

Campbell - KcKc

The river Kc sealed the deal for Campbell who doubled up to close to 60k. Ioakimidees was left with a few hundred chips which he put into the middle on the following hand. He has busted and made his way to the cage to re-enter.

Level: 2 (10:00 remaining)
Blinds: 100/200
Entries: 119
