ZISKIN TO THE RAIL
Alex Ziskin won a Chicagoland HPT event in May for $201,391. Ziskin then went on a bit of a heater in Vegas, cashing in the Series five times for about $120k. That includes a top-100 finish in the WSOP Main Event (81st).
Today Ziskin is at Ameristar Kansas City trying to add another score to his resume. Ziskin, originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, most likely has his eye on the HPT Player of the Year standings as well. His victory in May was good enough to catapult him into a tie for second place in that race. Aaron Johnson leads the way.
Ziskin's opponents chipped away at his stack and we just caught him all in with the last of it. His was in bad shape against his opponent's . The board didn't bring any help and Ziskin is headed to the cage to re-enter.
Players will take a 60-minute dinner break in 30 minutes. We'll get full counts during that break.
