ACTION IS AT TABLE 2

I'm really trying, folks, to make my way around the tournament area, but there's so much action at Table 2 in Day 1A @HPTPoker @AmeristarEC that I could just park here all day long.

You just read about the failed Mike Shanahan bluff, now we move on to a few more action-packed hands.

Pocket_Nines for Mark Robbins (pictured) on a 2-8-2 board, he calls a raise from Oleg Balaniuk, then catches a 9 on the turn and moves in when the river is a black. Balaniuk calls with Pocket_Jacks, loses a 65,000-chip pot and he's none too happy about it.

The last of Balaniuk's stack ships to Robbins less than an orbit later when Robbins turns two pair with Ace_Jack on a A-K-J-x board.

Now, back to Shanahan who was down to 2,400, but moved to 11,000 in two orbits.

David Weiss slips to 5,500 chips and doubles through Shanahan with Ace_Eight against Pocket_Nines when an Ace shows ... those players flop stacks and Shanaha is in rebuild mode again ... well, he's still is rebuild mode ...
