ADD TEN MORE TO DAY TWO

Flight B at The Meadows has come to a close with 10 minutes left in Level 18. Ten players advanced from a starting field of 110. The final flight for this $500 NLH will kick off at noon tomorrow.

Players who advance from all three flights will resume play at 11am Sunday for Day 2 action.

In impressive fashion, 85-year-old Robert Francis (pictured) led the way for the majority of the day. Francis took the chip lead early on and never looked back, though a few of his competitors did catch up to him by the end of the night.

There is essentially a three-way tie for top stack out of Flight B. Michael Iannace bagged 301k while Francis and Justin Kohnen each put exactly 300k in the bag. None of those stacks match up to Flight A's leader, James Beadnell, who bagged 592k.

A plethora of familiar faces made the trip to The Meadows Casino for today's flight but came up short of a bag. Among them were Dean Schultz, Dave Serkoch, Penny Banhidy and Dave Costain.
