FAMILIAR FACES AT MEADOWS

As we approach the midway point of Level 3 in Flight A of the $500 Mini Series Main Event from @MeadowsCasino, we've spotted several familiar faces in the field.

Penny Banhidy (pictured) is no stranger to HPT events. The Ohio woman has three previous cashes with the tour and two of those were at televised final tables. In all, Banhidy has earned over $96,000 at HPT events. She's just under starting stack here early in the day.

John Yocca finished runner-up at the first HPT Main Event at The Meadows last year for $62,502. That $1,100 tournament drew a total of 462 entrants. Yocca has close to 17,000 at the moment.

HPT's most recent visit to this Pennsylvania property was in March of this year. Mike O'Neill topped the field in that event for a $93k score. Though we haven't seen O'Neill today, the player that finished just behind him is in the field. Frank Guerra took second in March for $57,629. Guerra stands at close to 15,000 right now.

There are 86 entries so far today, which is already a good number for a Thursday. Registration is still open for over three hours so we're anticipating the $100,000 guarantee to be obliterated for this weekend's event.
