The current Mini Series is happening at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino just outside of Pittsburgh. The first of three flights for the $500 Main Event at The Meadows has just begun. The tournament clock reads 60 entries at the start of play.
Each player in this event begins with 20,000 chips and blinds are set at 30 minutes each. This two-day event features a big blind ante format and registration is open until the start of Level 9 which will come at roughly 8:45pm this evening.
Players who have entered today's flight will play down to roughly 10% of the field before bagging their chips. Approximately the top 12% will make the money portion of the tournament which means everyone who makes Day 2 is already in the money. Flights B and C are scheduled for tomorrow and Saturday, both with noon starts. Everyone who advances from their respective flights will return to the felt Sunday at 11am for Day 2 action. We will play down to a winner Sunday.
