The second of three Day 1 flights kicks off at 2 pm for the $1,650 Ameristar East Chicago Main Event. Thursday's Day 1A flight drew 109 entrants with 19 making the cut to Day 2.
Friday's schedule of play is set for 15 levels of action, ending approximately around 2 am. Thursday's flight got close to the hard stop of 15 players but played the full schedule.
This is the first event of Season XV for players to earn valuable Player of the Points. Reigning champ Aaron Johnson is in town looking to be the first to defend the title.
