The third and final Day 1 flight for the $1,650 Ameristar East Chicago Main Event is set to kick off and tournament organizers are expecting in excess of 350 entrants despite the snow flurries in the area.
The action gets going a little earlier than the prior two flights with cards in the air at noon. But they'll play the same schedule that the prior flights did, with registration open through the start of the dinner break - approximately 7:30.
There were 19 players from Day 1A and 31 from 1B for a total of 50 players moving on to Day 2 already. Players should note that Day 2 gets going even earlier with an 11 am start time.
