Greg Wood has been on a serious @HPTPoker heater the last month. 9th in St. Louis for $14k, he followed that up two weeks later with a victory in Lawrenceburg for a career-best $119,101 cash. His third HPT final table resulted in his first title.
His buddy Bill Byrnes was on the rail for the Lawrenceburg win. Byrnes won the HPT St. Louis event for his career-best $148,587 score.
Wood and Byrnes are both here for Day 1A of the $250,000 Guaranteed $1,100 at Meadows Casino. Wood already has a 30,000 stack in play, while Byrnes is checking out the casino and may enter later today.
Registration and the unlimited-entry period is available until about 9:30pm when Level 10 begins.
