SCHROEDER QUIETLY CHIPPING UP

Lauren Schroeder has hardly been heard throughout Day 1A of the $250,000 Guaranteed @HPTpoker $1,100 Main Event @MeadowsCasino, but his chips are doing plenty of talking.

His 150,000-stack is the largest in the room with 25 players remaining in this first-of-three starting flights.

Schroeder - from just 90-minutes away in Youngstown, OH - earned his first-ever cash in a 4-figure buy-in earlier this year with a 13th-place finish at MSPT Cleveland.

None of the remaining players are making much of a sound right now, as the tournament room has gone rather quiet post dinner break. None appear in much of a hurry to depart, either, as 25 of the 29 who came back from dinner are still here.
