HPT ON THE HIGH SEAS

The second half of 2019 is shaping up to be a busy one for HPT. The tour already has half a dozen events scheduled for July through December and rumor has it that several more stops will be added in the next month or so.

The lone event posted for 2020 at the moment is HPT's Western Caribbean cruise with Card Player Cruises. That nautical voyage will take place on the largest cruise ship in the world, Royal Caribbean's Symphony of the Seas. The ship is scheduled to sail out of Miami on January 25th.

During the 7-Night cruise, HPT and Card Player Cruises guests will make stops in St. Maarten, Puerto Rico, and the Bahamas before returning to Southern Florida February 1st.

Last year's cruise drew a record for an HPT event at sea. Nearly 600 poker enthusiasts made their way onto the ship. The $1,100 Main Event drew 230 total entries, nearly doubling the previous best for an HPT cruise Main Event.

At 1,188 feet long, Symphony of the Seas essentially becomes a floating city while at sea. At capacity, the ship can hold 6,680 total passengers. There are 20 dining options and seven neighborhoods on board.
