Registration has closed on the second of three flights in the $500,000 Guaranteed @HPTpoker $,1650 Main Event @StLouisPokerHC and the scoreboard shows 172 total entries.
Play continues tonight for six more 40-minute levels, concluding with the Bag-n-Tag portion of the festivities just shy of 2am and the end of Level 15. Players with chips after 15 levels all advance to Sunday's 11am Day 2 Restart (note the starting time, players), joining the seven who advanced from last night's flight and all who advance tomorrow.
Speaking of tomorrow, the final starting flight - Day 1C - begins Saturday at Noon, with registration and the unlimited-entry period for that flight closing when Level 10 begins at about 7:30pm.
This brings the tournament to 219 entries after two flights. Day 1B drew eight more entries than the Friday flight here in March (there was no Thursday flight in March), and the Saturday final-flight in March had a whopping 280 entries, so we fully expect tomorrow to be a busy one. Buy in now at the registration cage if you're here, or buy in early tomorrow, go have breakfast and come back for 12 hours of the pokers.
