Familiar Faces Early in Ohio

The clock reads 68 entries at the start of Level 6 here at Hollywood Casino. Registration is open until approximately 4:50pm this afternoon. The second flight of the day kicks off shortly after that, scheduled for a 5:15pm start.

Though this is only HPT's second series in the Toledo market, there are already a handful of notables in the field today. Former NFL tight end Eric Stocz is one of those. Stocz has eight previous HPT cashes, including a Main Event win in Michigan back in 2010 for over $117k. The Michigan man has amassed over $300k in total earnings at the poker tables over the years. Stocz is in good shape in the early going today as he has one of the largest stacks in the room.

Other familiar faces include Henry Zou & Jack Reidelbach. Zou is fresh off of a sixth-place finish at HPT's recent St. Louis event where he collected $29,640. Hailing from Saginaw, Michigan, Zou's career earnings are listed at just shy of $300,000 on Hendon Mob.

Reidelbach (pictured) has become a tour regular in recent years, primarily playing in his home market of Chicago. His best HPT Main Event finish to date is a 25th in August of last year. Reidelbach is looking to improve on that score this weekend.
