Close to $30,000,000 in cold hard cash has been awarded to poker players in Colorado since Heartland Poker Tour first visited @gates_poker back in 2007. More life changing money will be paid out when the tour returns to Black Hawk for another series starting tomorrow.
The September 11-23 event launches with a $400 NLHE Kick Start tournament that set a state record with 930 total entries in July. The full schedule features a variety of price points and tournament options with buy-ins starting at just $60.
The biggest payday of the 12-day festival will come in the form of the three-day nationally televised $1,650 Main Event. The first of three flights for that tournament is Thursday, September 19th. Day 2 is Sunday and the final nine will play down to a winner under the bright lights on Monday. It's not uncommon for this tournament to flirt with a million dollar prize pool and the winner is sure to walk away with a six-figure payday.
There are a number of opportunities for poker enthusiasts to play their way into the Main Event at a discounted rate throughout the series in $200 and $380 qualifiers.
