The preflop action seemed innocent enough, and so did the K-5-3 rainbow flop. Well, that is until the postflop betting began.
The last 15,300 gets in the middle from one challenger, and JR Richards has his last16,100 out there also. Greg Geller gets out of the way and up go the cards, but not in a way Richards likes.
- Tens for Richards for second pair
- Fives for the challenger, middle set, and it appears Richards is going to be reduced to 1BB after the turn and river.
Well, that is, until the turn cards comes.
Ten on the turn - set-over-set as Richards takes a commanding lead - and the challenger semi-explodes up from his chair with a few less-than-pleasant mumblings tossed in.
The river is a blank, Richards eliminates the challenger who marches directly to the elevators, gets in and lets out a primal scream as the doors close.
