I'm happy to report the presence of Ed Sebesta here in Black Hawk, CO!
Sebesta is not playing Day 1A, but he did stop by to say hello. Sebesta has been the HPT Player of the Year point leader for most of this season until recently, when Gary Herstein notched the lead with a win in East Chicago earlier this month.
Sebesta is based out of Houston, TX and was unable to make the East Chicago event due to Hurricane Harvey. He claims that there was no damage to his home, but because of airport closures, he was unable to attend the last event to defend his point lead. He is here now, though, to fight his way back to the top. He told me he plans to satellite his way in to this Main Event.
